Description
Right at the edge of the water is evidence of the sand building up over time with ridges. You can see the layers building up. In the foreground, is the rippling water and then the sand is in beautiful folds and layers. The lake is teaming with life as it moves and sways to the current flows and the winds. I love the textures and contrast of the photograph. I also see a heart and some other beautiful shapes in the sand.
This photograph was taken at Matheson Island, north of Gimli, Manitoba.
