This cactus is quite old and has become home to many birds as evidenced by all the holes in it. The dramatic streaks in the sky are beautiful too. This was taken in the deserts near Mesa, Arizona, USA.

According to Wikipedia, “The saguaro is a tree-like cactus species in the monotypic genus Carnegiea, which can grow to be over 40 feet tall...The saguaro blossom is the state wildflower of Arizona.”
