We were travelling back from British Columbia, through Alberta and Saskatchewan and back into Manitoba. We were driving along the back roads near the border with the United States in the Southwest of the province when we came across this pretty farm scene with a rainbow starting to appear after the rain.

Mary Mikawoz is a Canadian of Polish descent who follows in the footsteps of a number of artists and photographers in the family. She has studied photography and art from places like Champlain College in Montreal to Algonquin College in Ottawa to the Art Gallery School in Winnipeg. Mary graduated from the University of Manitoba and Red River College. When it comes to photography, Mary feels as if she is inspired by God or the Universe. It is as if she is meant to "capture this moment in time." Otherwise, she takes images that have nice compositions or from points of view that other people might not normally look at.
