Description
The blue sky was light enough to take a photograph of the Fort Garry Hotel before it turned into night. Somehow the lighting was just right to capture the château in all its finery and magnitude. This is one of many such similar Grand Trunk Railway hotels built across Canada from the one in Quebec City called Chateaux-Frontenac to Château Laurier in Ottawa, to Delta Bessborough in Saskatoon to Farimont Château Lake Louise near Banff.
The Fort Garry Hotel may have ghostly spirits living there and even tours area available. This photo reflects some eeriness and almost looks ominous going from light near the bottom to the dark at the top through partially lit trees and others in the dark.
