Description
Gotta love these Prairie Dogs! they are so adorable-looking! I know a lot of horse owners do not like them for obvious reasons. I am pretty sure that farmers are not keen on them too. I think they are adorable even though they are technically a rodent but a cute one called a "ground squirrel." They grow from 12 to 16 inches. They live in highly colonized societies called towns and can be further subdivided by wards. They are basically herbivores but also eat insects. This prairie dog, like so many pops up out and back into their burrows where there is a larger underground network. It can be fun watching them go between these different hideaways.
Thanks for liking, commenting, sharing and purchasing. Very much appreciated.
